The Hawaii Real Estate Commission is excited to introduce the Online Express Change Broker Request (ECBR) — a faster, paperless way for real estate professionals to update their broker affiliation. Launched on August 1, 2025, ECBR streamlines the process by allowing licensees to initiate the request themselves through their MyPVL account — no more waiting on paper forms or signatures from the releasing broker. Once submitted, both the releasing and hiring brokers receive instant email notifications to confirm the change. The steps are simple: confirm current license information, verify your email address, and select your new broker from a dropdown list. Once approved, changes are reflected immediately on the public license search. It’s licensing — modernized: faster, easier, and entirely online.
