REB Overview
The Real Estate Branch, as part of the Professional and Vocational Licensing Division, assists the Real Estate Commission in carrying out its responsibility for the education, licensure and discipline of real estate licensees; registration of condominium projects, condominium associations, condominium managing agents, and condominium hotel operators; and intervening in court cases involving the real estate recovery fund.

Who We Are
The Hawaiʻi Real Estate Commission is composed of nine members appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate, representing both licensed real estate professionals and the public from across the State of Hawaiʻi.
Administratively attached to the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs through the Professional and Vocational Licensing Division, the Commission oversees the licensure, education, and discipline of real estate professionals and the regulation of condominium-related entities to protect consumers and uphold the integrity of Hawaiʻi real estate industry.
