Examination Prerequisites

Examination Prerequisites pursuant to section 467-9.5, HRS:

1. You must have successfully completed the Hawaii prelicense course (either salesperson’s or broker’s, as appropriate) or have applied for and obtained an equivalency to the prelicense education course .
2. For the broker’s examination, you must have applied for and obtained a broker’s experience certificate .
3. You must be a United States citizen, a United States national, or an alien authorized to work in the United States.
4. You must be at least 18 years of age as of the date of the examination.
5. You must have earned a high school diploma or equivalent
