Hawaiian Electric Seeks Public Input on Renewable Energy Procurements

Hawaiian Electric has recently released a preliminary draft of the Integrated Grid Planning Request for Proposals (IGP RFP), and is inviting public commentary on this crucial phase of clean energy procurements.

Community feedback is integral to shaping the future of our energy landscape and Hawaiian Electric is encouraging your insights to plan for improved energy resilience and decarbonized island grids. The preliminary draft of the IGP RFP will be available for review and comments after March 5, 2024 and until March 29, 2024 on Hawaiian Electric’s Competitive Bidding Website. Hawaiian Electric intends to file the draft IGP RFP for the Public Utility Commission’s review in April 2024.
