Young Brothers wants to inform its customers that the arrival of their KRS 286-6 barge at the Kaumalapau harbor on Lanai has been delayed due to persistent poor ocean conditions. Despite a recovery attempt with a harbor assist tug, the barge will proceed to Molokai without discharging in Lanai. A recovery plan is being reviewed, but unfavorable forecasted ocean conditions may impact sailing at affected ports. Young Brothers assures efforts to maintain scheduled sailings and advises checking their website or signing up for updates for the latest information on schedule changes and cargo availability.
