Professional engineers perform professional services including consulting, investigating, planning, and observing the construction of buildings, works, and projects.
Architects consult, investigate, plan, design, and observe construction of of both private and public buildings.
Professional surveyors (also called “land surveyors“) practice land surveying which includes measuring, locating, establishing, and reestablishing lines and elevations for field surveys and boundary studies.
Landscape architects consult, research, design, preparing drawings and specifications for the settings, approaches, and environments of buildings, structures, and facilities.
Licenses are required for each of these industries.
