Insurance Division

The Insurance Division oversees the insurance industry in the State of Hawaii, which includes insurance companies, insurance agents, self-insurers and captives. The division is responsible for issuing licenses, examining the fiscal condition of Hawaii-based companies, reviewing rate and policy filings, and investigating insurance related complaints.
