Consumer Advocacy – Public Utilities (DCA)

Hawaiian Electric crews will be performing emergency work to replace a utility pole from 9
a.m. to 2p.m. along Ward Avenue where it intersects with Beretania Street. Two southbound
lanes will be closed and traffic will be contraflowed. Turning lanes also will be impacted
where Ward intersects with Beretania and Kinau streets.

Motorists should drive with caution when approaching and passing the area and use alternate
routes to commute if possible.
