Rental and Utility Relief Program Reached 7,500 of 8,000 New Applications
Posted on Nov 7, 2022 in Hot TopicsThe Rental and Utility Relief Program has received about 7,500 of 8,000 new applications since temporarily reopening a month ago. Once the application portal receives 8,000 applications, it will close.
The Program’s priority is new applications. The portal is strictly for new applications and they should apply only once.
Households in RURP who have received less than 18 months of help can request a recertification from the partner managing their application:
- Catholic Charities Hawaiʻi (CCH) at [email protected]
- The Council for Native Hawaiian Advancement (CNHA) at [email protected]
Patience is appreciated as CCH and CNHA process thousands of new applications and recertification’s. Please remember no request for help is guaranteed funding or guaranteed 18 months of support.
