Dear Valued Customer,

All ports and waterways have reopened, and YB facilities statewide are operating as normal. There are no changes to cargo acceptance for all ports. Below will be our last update to sailing schedule and cargo acceptance/availability as we do not anticipate any additional changes for the remainder of the week.

Sailing Schedule Updates

Honolulu to Kaumalapau and Kaunakakai – Arrived
The barge arrived in Kaumalapau this morning as scheduled and will continue to Kaunakakai as scheduled.

Due to the limited cargo loaded to the barge, Young Brothers will have a recovery sailing to the Port of Kaumalapau that will arrive on Sunday, August 3, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. For customer convenience, the port will have special gate hours on Monday, August 4, 2025, from 7:30 am to 3:30 p.m. Cargo availability is as follows:

• Dry and refrigerated straightload containers:  Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.
• Refrigerated loose and palletized cargo:  Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.
• Dry palletized cargo: Monday, August 4, 2025 at 7:30 a.m.
• Automobiles, Roll-on Roll-off, and Dry Mixed Cargo:  upon notification

Honolulu to Hilo – Sailed Wednesday, July 30, 2025, expected to arrive on Thursday, July 31, 2025
The barge to Hilo originally scheduled to depart Honolulu yesterday, has departed Honolulu this morning and is expected to arrive in Hilo on Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 12:00 p.m. There are no changes to cargo acceptance in Hilo for cargo destined to Honolulu. Cargo availability is as follows:

• Dry and refrigerated straightload containers:  Upon discharge
• Refrigerated loose and palletized cargo:  Thursday, July 31, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
• Dry palletized cargo: Saturday, August 2, 2025 at 11:00 a.m.
• Automobiles, Roll-on Roll-off, and Dry Mixed Cargo:  upon notification

The barge will remain in port and depart Hilo on Saturday, August 2, 2025. Outbound cargo from Hilo to Honolulu will be available on Monday, August 4, 2025.

As a reminder, Young Brothers’ Port of Hilo will continue to be closed on Friday, August 1, 2025 in observance of Bloody Monday labor holiday. Due to post-tsunami recovery operations, the port will now be open on Saturday, August 2, 2025 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
