State Hosts 10th Annual Consumer Education Fair in Honor of National Consumer Protection Week
HONOLULU – The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) will commemorate National Consumer Protection Week (NCPW) March 1-7 by hosting two Consumer Education Fairs:
March 2, 2015

“For the past 10 years, DCCA has been hosting this fair to encourage people and businesses to learn more about avoiding scams and understanding consumer rights,” said DCCA Director Catherine Awakuni Colón. “Free resources will be available from government agencies and consumer organizations to help people make smarter buying decisions and spot rip-offs.”
The NCPW website — www.consumer.gov/ncpw — has more information for people to use to recognize a rip-off, sniff out a scam, and make smart choices for today’s market.
