Consumer Advocacy – Public Utilities (DCA)

The Public Utilities Commission (PUC) approved in part and denied in part Hawaiian Electric Company, Inc. (HECO) to increase its rates on an interim basis. PUC adopts many of the agreed upon matters between HECO and the Consumer Advocate with some additional adjustments. Some adjustments include HECO to make a downward adjustments to its 2017 Test Year Contributions in Excess amortization amount, Pension and OPEB Tracking Regulatory Asset/Liability balances, and to its interim revenue increase.
