Request for Proposals Issued for Hawaiian Language Video Content
HONOLULU – The State of Hawaii Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) today issued a Request for Proposal (RFP) for the development and distribution of Hawaiian language video programming. The purpose of the RFP is to solicit interested parties to develop Hawaiian language video content for statewide distribution to promote and cultivate interest in the Hawaiian language, as well as to provide educational opportunities for individuals to continue learning Hawaiian.
DCCA invites all interested parties to thoroughly examine the RFP in its entirety and to submit a proposal. The RFP includes specific requirements to be performed by the Contractor. Following review and selection, a fixed-price contract may be awarded to a single Contractor for the duration of one (1) year, with options to extend.
The RFP is available on the State of Hawaii, State Procurement Office website at: https://spo3.hawaii.gov/notices/notices/rfp-catv-16-001-sw. The RFP can also be viewed on the DCCA Cable Television Division’s website at: https://cca.hawaii.gov/catv/hawaiian-language-video-content/.
