General Filing Information

Filing Documents with OAH

You may file documents with OAH by mail, hand delivery, or email.

File by mail or hand delivery between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. to:

File the original plus one hardcopy of your document.  If you wish to have a file-stamped hardcopy returned to you, provide additional copies with a self-addressed stamped envelope.

File electronically by email to:

Before filing, please redact any sensitive personally identifiable information (i.e., data that, if disclosed, could cause harm, like social security numbers or financial account numbers) from your document.

A postmark does not constitute the date the document was filed with OAH.

Filing Fees

If you are required to pay a filing fee, include this payment with your request for administrative hearing, MICP inquiry, or DCCP claim.  Filing fees are nonrefundable and payable by check or money order, made payable to the “Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs”.

If you are filing your document electronically, include a copy of your filing fee payment with your filing and mail your filing fee payment to OAH within two business days of your filing date.

For MICP or DCCP matters, OAH will reject your MICP inquiry or DCCP claim if it does not receive your filing fee payment within five business days of your filing date.
