**IMPORTANT NOTICE** RECENT LAW CHANGE (ACT 066, SLH 2022)
Effective July 1, 2022, Act 066, SLH 2022 increased the Hawaii State Center for Nursing fee from $40 to $60 for initial license, renewal and restoration nurse applications. The new fee will be assessed, in addition to other required fees, for all nurse (LPN and RN) initial license, renewal and restoration licensed on and after July 1, 2022. In other words, if you are issued a license or restoring your Hawaii nurse license on or after July 1, 2022. ONE YEAR (1) ABANDONMENT OF APPLICATIONS

Pursuant to HRS §436B-9 Your application shall be considered abandoned, will be destroyed, if you fail to complete the license process within one year after filing the application, or fail to take and pass the examination after becoming eligible to take the examination. If an application is deemed abandoned the applicant shall be required to reapply for licensure and comply with the licensing requirements at the time of the reapplication.
