Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer Individual (Initial License)

For initial or if you held a HI resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactive for more than one year.

Before submitting your application:

To obtain fingerprints, schedule an appointment online at https://www.fieldprinthawaii.com.  Fees collected by Fieldprint include state and federal submission fees. Effective September 1, 2018, all applicants must enter “HI-DCCA-INS”, the code that identifies the Insurance Division as the intended recipient of your fingerprint result, when scheduling an online appointment with Fieldprint.

Apply electronically and pay fees at https://nipr.com/ (Use NIPR’s “Apply for a New License” online application.

Appointment:

An appointment is not required to be submitted at time of application, but an appointment must be in place to do business. Appointment and termination of appointment must be submitted online via NIPR. Paper submission is no longer acceptable.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Business Entity (Initial License)

For initial or if you held a HI resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactive for more than one year.

To apply electronically:

  1. Go to https://nipr.com/ to apply for your license (Use NIPR’s “Apply for a New License” online application)
  2. Submit Form DP for SSS via NIPR’s Attachments Warehouse (within 7 days from the date the online application is submitted). Form DP for SSS can be obtain at https://cca.hawaii.gov/ins/producers/forms/

IMPORTANT: The Form DP for SSS is required to be attached to the NIPR’s attachment Warehouse within 7 days of submitting the application.   Your application may be considered “rejected” if Licensing Branch does not receive the document(s) within 7 days from the date the application is submitted.  No refund if application is rejected.

LATE RENEWAL: If you held a HI resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that has been inactivated within one year of expiration.

Go to https://nipr.com/ to renew or pay renewal late fee electronically.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – INDIVIDUAL (LICENSE Reinstatement)

REINSTATEMENT: If you held a HI resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that has been inactivated for more than one year.  You must apply as a new applicant.

You will apply as a new applicant for initial application.  Follow the same requirements and instructions in the beginning of the page to apply for the individual (Initial) or the business entity (initial) Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license via https://nipr.com).
