For initial or if you held a HI Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactive for more than two years.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Individual (License Reactivation)

If you held a HI Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactivated within two years.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Business Entity (Initial License)

If you held a HI Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactive for more than two years.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Business Entity (License Reactivation)

If you held a HI Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that was inactivated within two years.

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Individual or Business Entity (License Renewal or Reinstatement)

Reinstatement – If you held a HI Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer license that has been inactive for not more than thirty days, due to nonrenewal.

Before submitting your application:

To obtain fingerprints, schedule an appointment online at http://www.fieldprinthawaii.com.  Fees collected by Fieldprint include state and federal submission fees. Effective September 1, 2018, all applicants must enter “HI-DCCA-INS”, the code that identifies the Insurance Division as the intended recipient of your fingerprint result, when scheduling an online appointment with Fieldprint.

Effective June 1, 2021, you must apply electronic and pay fees with a credit card at http://nipr.com/. For more information, please refer to Commissioner’s Memorandum 2021- 6LIC)

Electronic submission is not available for reactivation.  To reactivate your license, you must submit a paper application.

Before submitting your application:

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Business Entity (Initial License)

Effective June 1, 2021, you must apply electronic and pay fees with a credit card at http://nipr.com/. For more information, please refer to Commissioner’s Memorandum 2021- 6LIC )

To apply electronically:

  1. Go to http://nipr.com/ to apply for your license.
  2. Submit the name, Hawaii address and electronic mail of a designated responsible person who is responsible for the agency’s compliance with Hawaii insurance laws and rules through NIPR’s Attachments Warehouse.

 

Resident Limited Lines Self-Service Storage Producer – Business Entity (License Reactivation)

  2. The name, address and electronic mail of a designated responsible person who is a responsible for the agency’s compliance with Hawaii insurance laws and rules.
  3. Licensing Fees. Contact the Hawaii Insurance Division at 808-586-2788 to verify the applicable fees. Make check payable to the Department of Commerce & Consumer Affairs.

 

LICENSE RENEWAL OR REINSTATEMENT

You must go to http://nipr.com/ to renew or reinstate electronically.
