General Information for Providers/Producers

Frequently Asked Questions

Effective November 16, 2022, SBS for Organizations will be used in support of Hawaii insurance licensing continuing education processes.

Go to https://sbs.naic.org/solar-web/pages/public/ce/provider/providerApplicationWizard.jsf?dswid=-1603 for Provider Application.

To submit a Course Application, Course Schedule or Rosters – Providers will need to create an SBS For Organization Account and link themselves to that account.

SBS for Organizations requires one login to access all SBS jurisdictions. Therefore, if you already use SBS for Organizations in other jurisdictions, you do not need to create a SBS for Organizations account.  All new users need to create a SBS for Organizations account.

In either scenario, all users will need to associate Hawaii providers to their accounts by using each provider’s Provider ID and Provider PIN.

Sign up for SBS for Organizations any time by following these simple steps:
Step 1: Go to www.statebasedsystems.com. Select Hawaii from the jurisdiction drop down and click Sign Up for SBS for Organizations.
Step 2: Follow the prompts to create your account and log into SBS for Organizations.
Step 3: Add your education provider licenses to your account using the Add Entity function as each applicable jurisdiction transitions to the new version of SBS. You will need the Provider ID and PIN identified above for this step.
Step 4: Simplify your education provider processes!

When you submit a Course Application, you must attach course materials and a detailed course content outline with a number of minutes of instructions that will be offered.
