Cambridge State University Settlement

In April 2004 Cambridge State University agreed to provide full refunds to certain of its students and graduates. To have been be eligible, a person must have enrolled or graduated from CSU between July 1, 2002 and July 1, 2004. The deadline for submitting claims (August 17, 2005) has expired. No new claims are being accepted.

Cambridge State University has slowly been paying claims and it is now in default.  As a result, the $25,000 in civil penalties have now been imposed.  All amounts due under the judgment have been deemed uncollectible in the State of Hawaii.

Cambridge State currently operates under the authority of the State of Mississippi.  You may wish to consult the Mississippi Commission on College Accreditation (www.ihl.state.ms.us) or the Mississippi Attorney General (www.ago.state.ms.us).
