RENEWAL and RESTORATION INFORMATION

Biennial – first renewal will be December 31, 2017.

On-time renewals for the licensing period of January 1, 2018 to December 31, 2019 begin on Monday, November 6, 2017 and end midnight (HST) Sunday, December 31, 2017

RENEW by license expiration date of December 31, 2017

Renewal postcard reminders will be mailed out November 3, 2017

To be guaranteed a pocket card by December 31, 2017
Renewals should be submitted by November 30, 2017

Failure to timely renew will result in the forfeiture of the license. A forfeited license may be restored within one year of the expiration date and subject to meeting restoration requirements. Failure to restore a forfeited license within one year will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements.

Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS , any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.
