IF YOU DID NOT RENEW YOUR FIRM PERMIT TO PRACTICE BEFORE 4:00 P.M. ON DECEMBER 18, 2015, YOU MUST RENEW WITH A HARD COPY FORM!
The online Firm Permit to Practice (“FPTP”) renewal process has been disabled as this time. The Board of Public Accountancy (“Board”) has extended the deadline to file a FPTP renewal application to January 31, 2016. To renew after December 18, 2015 at 4:00 P.M., CPA firms must utilize the attached HARD COPY RENEWAL APPLICATION FORM.
Note: If you already renewed prior to 4:00 P.M. on December 18, 2015, you do not need to do anything else.

You will need to select either the “Sole Owner” or “Entity” Renewal Application. Complete the form and submit it with applicable renewal fees to the Board as follows:

The DEADLINE to submit your CPA FPTP renewal is January 31, 2016. A postmark date of January 31, 2016 will be honored as a timely filing.

Biennial December 31 every odd numbered year.
On-time renewals for the licensing period of January 1, 2016 to December 31, 2017 begins on Monday, November 9, 2015 and ends midnight (HST) Thursday December 31, 2015
Renewal postcard reminders will be mailed out November 6, 2015
All online renewals will need to be submitted through “MyPVL” at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/mypvl
To be guaranteed a pocket card by December 31, 2015
Renewals should be submitted by November 30, 2015
Failure to timely renew by the renewal date will result in the forfeiture of the license. After the renewal date, the forfeited license may be restored subject to meeting restoration requirements.
Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS , any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.
