Application and Licensing Information

ONE YEAR (1) ABANDONMENT OF APPLICATIONS

Pursuant to HRS §436B-9 Your application shall be considered abandoned, will be destroyed, if you fail to complete the license process within one year after filing the application, or fail to take and pass the examination after becoming eligible to take the examination. If an application is deemed abandoned the applicant shall be required to reapply for licensure and comply with the licensing requirements at the time of the reapplication.

Renewal Information
(Renew by June 30 every even-numbered year)
  • All Licenses regardless of issuance date, are subject to renewal by June 30 of every even-numbered year.
On-time renewals for the licensing period of July 1, 2024 to June 30, 2026

Renewals accepted: May 6, 2024 to June 30, 2024
Renewal Hardcopy Form Mailout: May 3, 2024
Renew By License Expiration Date: June 30, 2024

Licenses not renewed by license expiration date are unlicensed and may not practice.

Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS , any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met. Military Renewal and Restoration Information Sheet.
