Renewal Information
(Renew by December 31 every odd-numbered year)
  • All Licenses regardless of issuance date, are subject to renewal by December 31 of every odd-numbered year.
On-time renewals for the licensing period of January 1, 2026 to December 31, 2027
Renew Online: https://mypvl.dcca.hawaii.gov/
Renewals accepted: November 3, 2025 to December 31, 2025
Renewal Postcard Mailout: October 31, 2025
Renew By License Expiration Date: December 31, 2025

Licenses not renewed by license expiration date are unlicensed and may not practice.

On-Time Cost to Renew
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) – active status, $260.00
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) – inactive status, $12.00

 

Restoration Information
(Restore within 2 years after the license expiration)
Forfeited licenses may be restored within 2 years and subject to meeting restoration requirements.
(Must restore by hardcopy only)
Failure to restore a forfeited license within 2 years after the license expiration date will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements.
 Cost to Restore (late renewal)
From January 1, 2022 to January 30, 2022 pay:
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) – active status, $260.00
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) – inactive status, $12.00
From January 31, 2022 to December 31, 2023 pay:
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) – active status, $300.00
Hearing Aid Dealer and Fitter (HA) - inactive status, $52.00
