Application for Initial Authorization of Private Colleges or Universities

The first step in applying for authorization is to email [email protected] with information on your institution’s plans: when you intend to start operating, where you will be located, whether your accreditor needs to approve this location or not, what programs you will be offering, and whether you will be offering face-to-face or online courses or a combination of both. Please note that new-to-Hawaii institutions must obtain a surety bond to show financial integrity.
