Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs To Consolidate Maui Offices

HONOLULU — The state Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) will be consolidating the department’s Maui offices to a central location in Wailuku. Offices to relocate include the Business Registration Division’s Business Action Center (BAC) Maui Office, the Office of Consumer Protection (OCP), and the Regulated Industries Complaint Office (RICO) to the Wells Street Professional Center located at 2145 Wells Street, Wailuku, Hawaii 96793.

The relocation, which brings the DCCA offices to a central government district next to the County of Maui Department of Water Building and across from the Second Circuit Court—is effective next Monday, November 25, 2019

Business Action Center
Provides assistance with state business and employer registrations, obtaining state taxpayer IDs, and more.

Office of Consumer Protection
Investigates and prosecutes consumer complaints alleging unfair or deceptive trade practices, including advertising, refunds, motor vehicle rentals, door-to-door sales, and credit practices.
