On-time renewals for the licensing period of July 1, 2015 to June 30, 2017 begins on Monday, April 13, 2015 and ends midnight (HST) Tuesday, June 30, 2015
Renewal postcard reminders will be mailed out April 10, 2015
Beginning with the 2015 renewal all online renewals will need to be submitted through a new “MyPVL” online service at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/mypvl

APRN licenses may renew online only if certified by a master’s degree and will be required to renew their APRN and RN license at the same time.
Failure to timely renew by the renewal date will result in the forfeiture of the license. After the renewal date, the forfeited license may be restored within 2 years for LPN and RN; 6 months for APRN and subject to meeting restoration requirements. Failure to restore a forfeited license within the restoration period will result in the termination of the license and the person must apply as a new applicant and meet current licensing requirements.
Late renewals/restorations can be submitted online via “MyPVL” at https://pvl.ehawaii.gov/mypvl from July 1, 2015 through midnight (HST), March 31, 2017 for LPN and RN; December 31, 2015 for APRN and are subject to a late renewal fee.
Pursuant to Section 436B-14.5, HRS , any license held by a member of the armed forces, National Guard, or a reserve component that expires, is forfeited, or deemed delinquent while the member is on active duty and deployed during a state or national crisis shall be restored if certain restoration requirements are met.
