Under a settlement agreement after filing of petition approved by the Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs on May 24, 2021, World Medicine Institute agreed to a $20,000 payment in administrative/enforcement costs; $55,090 total settlement payment to two students; and debt forgiveness of a promissory note. The institution also agreed to not operate or seek authorization to operate any institution of higher education. World Medicine Institute made no admission of liability.
