Honolulu Campus Closure and Teach-Out Plan Approval

The Higher Learning Commission approved the University of Phoenix’s teach-out plan for closing branch campuses and locations, including the downtown Honolulu campus at the Topa Financial Center on Fort Street Mall. The Commission also approved a new location in Kapolei. University of Phoenix is looking to establish the Kapolei Learning Center as its new Hawaii Main Campus.
While no new students are allowed to enroll at the downtown Honolulu campus, current students can continue their education through the teach-out plan’s scheduled campus closure on April 30, 2020.
