Young Brothers, LLC’s Emergency Request to Change its Sailing Schedules (Tariff Transmittal 20-0003)

On April 24, 2020, Young Brothers, LLC (“Young Brothers”) filed an emergency request to change its sailing schedule as a result of COVID-19. Read Tariff Transmittal 2020-0003 here.

On May 4, 2020, the Commission temporarily approved Young Brothers’ emergency request to change its sailing schedules for the islands of Molokai, Lanai, Maui, and Hawaii, for a 30-day period. Read the Order No. 37128 here.

On June 3, 2020, the Commission filed Order No. 37166 temporarily approving Young Brothers’ modified sailing schedule, effective June 12, 2020, for 30 days. Under the modified schedule, Young Brothers’ sailing between Honolulu and Hilo moves from a Tuesday departure from Honolulu, to a Saturday departure from Honolulu, such that the barge will arrive in Hilo on Monday, adds a second weekly sailing to Kaunakakai, and changes Young Brothers’ barge arrival in Kaumalapau to Wednesday (instead of Sunday).
