PUC Approves Sea Link’s Surrender of its CPCN

The Public Utilities Commission, subject to certain conditions, approved the voluntary surrender of Sea Link of Hawaii, Inc.’s certificate of public convenience and necessity (CPCN) to operate as a water carrier of passengers and property between the islands of Oahu, Molokai, and Maui. As a result, Sea Link may terminate its ferry service operations (commonly known as the Molokai Ferry).
