Congratulations to the Division of Consumer Advocacy for winning the Governor’s award for Team of the Year!

The DCA Next-Era-Hawaiian Electric Merger Evaluation Team processed and analyzed over 100,000 pages of information, working tirelessly through a heavy and increasingly complex workload of dockets. To ensure Hawaii’s consumers receive significant and quantifiable benefits, the team sacrificed nights and weekends to strategize and prepare for hearings, draft comments and meet deadlines. In each and every instance, they upheld the division’s mission to protect and advance the interests of Hawaii’s regulated utility consumers.
